Research.Since 1991 I have been linked to research groups, first, working on the teaching of graphic expression subjects in the teaching of architecture and, later, joining the PAIDI group HUM-411 “The House and the Place. The Territory of Architecture”, of which I am currently principal researcher. Its activity has led to the holding of an International Congress, the signing of several research contracts with municipalities such as Cádiz, Rota or Écija, the exchange with other universities such as the Fachhochschule Konstanz, Germany, or the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico. In 2015 we developed the R&D&I project “The pedestrian city. Integration in urban and territorial planning. Seville and its territory from pedestrian mobility”, with the Public Works Agency of the Regional government Junta de Andalucía and we collaborate with other teams, such as currently with “Architecture: Design and Technique” whose IP is María Dolores Robador. Among the group's lines of research is “Subtractive Architecture”, which will give rise to my doctoral thesis “Excavated Architectures. The Project versus the construction of space”. First prize in the biennial call of the Arquia Foundation and published as a book within the Arquíthesis collection.
