Begoña Barrera López es Profesora Titular en el Departamento de Historia Contemporánea de la Universidad de Sevilla. Su principal línea de investigación gira en torno a la relación entre fascismo, franquismo y género. En este campo, se ha centrado de manera particular, aunque no exclusiva, en la historia de la Sección Femenina de Falange. Sobre esta organización ha publicado la monografía La Sección Femenina, 1934-1977. Historia de una tutela emocional (Alianza, 2019). En la actualidad trabaja sobre la relación entre fascismo y sexualidad, así como sobre las políticas pronatalistas en Europa durante el siglo XX.
Begoña Barrera López is Associate Professor in the Department of Contemporary History at the University of Seville. Her main line of research focuses on the relationship between fascism, Francoism and gender. Within this field, she has paid particular, though not exclusive, attention to the history of the Women’s Section of Falange. She is the author of the monograph La Sección Femenina, 1934–1977.
